Technical Details

At Valleyhaus, we are driven by a passion for solving the complex engineering challenges that come with revolutionizing home construction. Every obstacle is an opportunity to innovate, and our team thrives on finding elegant, efficient solutions to deliver better, smarter homes. From automating factory processes to optimizing transportation logistics, we approach each challenge with creativity, precision, and a relentless commitment to quality. Our goal isn’t just to build homes—it’s to redefine what’s possible in prefab construction, making high-quality, affordable housing accessible worldwide.

CNC Machine

At the core of Valleyhaus’s innovation is our state-of-the-art automated factory, where cutting-edge technology meets custom craftsmanship. The heart of our operation is a massive CNC machine, spanning the size of a house, capable of cutting materials up to 8 meters by 3 meters with remarkable precision at 2.5 meters per minute. Every machine in our factory operates using custom software designed in-house, ensuring seamless integration and flawless execution. To optimize efficiency, we utilize an automated overhead crane for loading and unloading the CNC machine, minimizing manual labor and maximizing accuracy. This advanced automation allows us to deliver homes with unparalleled precision, quality, and speed.

CLT Panels

The not-so-secret ingredient to our innovative prefab manufacturing is Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) panels. While they may appear costly at first glance, their large, uniform dimensions make them the ideal material for automation. By building our process around CLT panels, we’ve achieved a revolutionary reduction in labor costs—up to 90%—without compromising on quality. These panels are not only strong and durable but also enable precise, efficient production with minimal waste. CLT technology is the foundation of our ability to deliver high-quality, affordable homes at unprecedented speeds.

Hemp Insulation

Hemp insulation offers superior thermal regulation, reducing heating and cooling costs while maintaining a comfortable indoor climate. Unlike conventional fiberglass or foam insulation, hemp is a natural, non-toxic, and highly breathable material that contributes to healthier indoor air quality by preventing mold and moisture buildup. It also boasts excellent soundproofing properties, enhancing privacy and reducing noise pollution. Additionally, hemp is a rapidly renewable resource with a low environmental footprint, sequestering carbon throughout its growth cycle, making it a truly eco-friendly choice for modern housing. By choosing hemp fiber insulation, we are not only improving energy efficiency but also supporting a greener, more sustainable future for homeowners

Metal Roofing

We use standing seam metal roofing for its exceptional durability, energy efficiency, and sleek modern aesthetic. This roofing system features interlocking panels that run vertically, eliminating exposed fasteners and reducing the risk of leaks, making it one of the most weather-resistant options available. Standing seam metal roofs are designed to withstand extreme conditions, including heavy snow, high winds, and even wildfires, ensuring long-term performance with minimal maintenance. Additionally, metal roofing reflects solar heat, helping to keep homes cooler in the summer and reducing energy costs. Unlike asphalt shingles, which degrade over time, standing seam metal can last 50 years or more, making it a cost-effective and sustainable choice. It is also 100% recyclable, aligning with our commitment to environmentally responsible building practices.

Tilt Turn Windows

We incorporate triple-pane fiberglass tilt-turn windows to maximize energy efficiency, durability, and versatility in our homes. These high-performance windows provide superior insulation, reducing heat loss in the winter and keeping interiors cool in the summer, leading to lower energy costs and increased comfort. The triple-pane design, combined with fiberglass frames, minimizes thermal bridging and enhances soundproofing, creating a quieter, more serene indoor environment. Unlike traditional windows, the tilt-turn mechanism offers dual functionality—tilting inward for controlled ventilation or swinging open like a door for maximum airflow and easy cleaning. Fiberglass frames are stronger and more durable than vinyl or wood, resisting warping, rotting, and expansion due to temperature fluctuations. Additionally, these windows improve home security, as the robust multi-point locking system makes them significantly harder to breach. By choosing triple-pane fiberglass tilt-turn windows, we ensure superior performance, longevity, and sustainability, aligning with our mission to build homes that are efficient, comfortable, and built to last

Fibre Cement Siding

Fibre cement siding is utilized for its unmatched durability, low maintenance, and aesthetic versatility. This high-performance material is resistant to fire, moisture, pests, and extreme weather, making it an ideal choice for long-lasting protection. Unlike wood, fiber cement does not warp, rot, or attract termites, and unlike vinyl, it withstands UV exposure without fading or becoming brittle. It also provides excellent dimensional stability, ensuring a clean, modern look for decades with minimal upkeep. Fiber cement siding is available in a variety of textures and finishes, allowing customers to enjoy the appearance of natural wood, stucco, or smooth contemporary designs without the drawbacks of traditional materials. Additionally, it contributes to energy efficiency by providing an extra layer of thermal resistance. As a sustainable choice, fiber cement is made from a mix of natural and recyclable materials, aligning with our commitment to eco-friendly building practices. By choosing fiber cement siding, we ensure that our homes are not only beautiful but also built to withstand the test of time.

Inventory

Efficiency starts with organization, and at Valleyhaus, our automated inventory system ensures every piece of material is accounted for and ready when needed. Materials are stored in long linear racking systems, capable of accommodating sheets up to 8 meters in length. Each item is uniquely identified, enabling our automated crane to locate and retrieve the correct material with precision. From massive panels to cabinets and even toilets, everything is meticulously organized within this system. By automating inventory management, we streamline the production process, reduce errors, and maintain the highest level of efficiency in delivering your home.

Transportation

Transportation has long been a challenge for prefab homes, but Valleyhaus has solved this with smart design and logistics. Each component of our homes is crafted to match the dimensions of standard shipping containers, ensuring compatibility with global transportation networks. By keeping every piece under essential weight restrictions, we maximize shipping efficiency while minimizing costs. This thoughtful approach allows us to ship our homes anywhere in the world, ensuring they arrive ready for assembly without hassle or delays. Wherever you are, Valleyhaus brings precision-built, high-quality housing right to your doorstep.
